What This Service Covers
A pool heater is the largest gas appliance on most properties, and it shows in the line it needs. Undersized piping is the quiet reason many heaters underperform, heating slowly or shutting down when they should be working hardest. We size pool heater lines for the full rated load, so the heater you bought delivers the heat it promised.
We connect the heaters South Florida pools run on, including Raypak and Teledyne Laars units, for homeowners, pool builders and the home builders we serve. Whether the heater is part of a new pool build or a replacement on an existing pad, the gas work is planned as one system with the rest of the property.
Included in a Typical Job
- New pool heater gas lines
- Heater replacement connections
- Lines sized for full heater output
- Spa and pool combination setups
- Heater lines for new pool construction
- Service for builders and pool companies

Good Questions
Pool and Spa Heaters Questions
Why does my pool heater need such a large gas line?
Pool heaters burn far more gas than any indoor appliance, often several times the load of a range and water heater combined. That fuel has to travel from the meter or tank to the equipment pad without losing pressure along the way. A properly sized line is what lets the heater reach its full output and heat the water at the speed you expect.
Can you connect a heater during my pool build?
Yes, and construction is the best time to do it. We coordinate with your pool builder so the gas line is trenched and placed while the yard is already open, then connect the heater when the equipment is set. Builders across our service area, including the club communities we work in, schedule our crews as a standard part of the pool package.
My heater was replaced. Does the gas line need attention too?
It deserves a look. Newer heaters can draw differently than the unit they replace, and an older line may have been marginal for years without anyone noticing. When we connect a replacement heater we check the line against the new rating plate and tell you honestly whether it is right or whether a resizing run is the wiser spend.
Can a spa and pool share one gas heater line?
In most setups, yes. Combination pool and spa systems commonly run from one heater, and the gas line is sized for that heater at full fire. If your property has separate heaters for the pool and the spa, we add both loads together and size the supply for the two of them running at once on a cool evening.
